Arrington Statement on Biden Administration Fast-Tracking Climate-Crazed Agenda While Stalling Reliable Energy Projects

Washington, D.C. - Today, Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement after the Biden administration finalized a rule, which would fast-track Green New Deal agenda energy projects while stalling projects that provide Americans with reliable and affordable energy:

"Biden and the far-Left are more committed than ever to their Green New Deal agenda and forcing their radical ideology on hardworking American families.

"Whether it's his electric vehicle mandate, targeting American energy producers with methane regulations, banning the export of liquefied natural gas, or suspending drilling leases, President Biden has weaponized the federal government to appease climate activists at the expense of the American people.

"But, he's not done yet. Now, he's greasing the wheels for his climate-crazed agenda, expanding permits for Green New Deal energy projects while stalling approvals for reliable and affordable domestic energy.

"Americans need a President who will put the economic and national security needs of our families - not political expediency - first."
