Celebrating Altair’s Commitment to Community During National Volunteer Month

In celebration of April being National Volunteer Month, we're recapping our volunteer efforts throughout 2023 and plans for 2024, as part of our Altair Team Member Experience (TMX) initiatives.

April is National Volunteer Month, and at Altair Global, we're proud to highlight our dedication to giving back to our communities. As part of our values of being Accountable and doing the right thing-including our ongoing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts, volunteering plays a significant role in our culture, embodying our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

Knocking It Out of the Park in 2023

In 2023, our team members collectively volunteered an astounding 4,701 hours, showcasing their passion for service and community engagement. This remarkable accomplishment reflects our dedication to contributing meaningfully to the causes and organizations that matter most to us.

As part of recognizing our team members who go above and beyond to meet these goals, earlier this year we recognized two outstanding team members who demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteering in 2023, Lexie Maryak, Experience Management Product Owner, and Taleasha Pool, Accounts Payable Coordinator, by inviting them to the 2023 Frisco Chamber Gala. Lexie's dedication to the Doberman Rescue of North Texas and Taleasha's passion for serving at Minnie's Food Pantry exemplify the spirit of volunteerism that defines Altair.

Building Bigger Goals for 2024

We're not stopping there. In 2024, we've set an ambitious companywide goal to increase our average training hours per team member from 12.2 to 15, further emphasizing our commitment to personal and professional development. To support this goal, each team member at Altair is given 32 hours of paid volunteer time annually (8 hours per quarter) - with many of our team members going above and beyond, surpassing this mark to make an even greater difference in their communities.

Together, Lexie, Taleasha, and all of our team members demonstrate the power of collective action and the impact we can make when we come together to support our communities. As we celebrate and close out National Volunteer Month, we're confident that our team members around the globe will continue to embody the spirit of service and make a positive difference wherever we go.
