State Police arrest Rexford man for Burglary

On April 21, 2024, State Police of Clifton Park arrested Allan D. Williams, 46, of Rexford, NY, for Burglary in the second degree, Grand Larceny in the third degree, Criminal Contempt in the first degree, two counts of Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, Aggravated Harassment in the second degree, and Harassment in the second degree.

On April 21, 2024, at about 5 a.m. Troopers responded to a Rexford, NY, home for the report of a possible burglary of a home. On arrival, Troopers discovered damage to the rear door which appeared to have been kicked in. No suspect was located in the home. Further investigation determined Williams reportedly forced entry into the home, causing damage, stole property, and damaged a vehicle at the location. In addition, Williams allegedly contacted the homeowner via phone repeatedly and threatened them. All this occurred while a court-issued refrain from order of protection was in place against Williams, protecting the victim. The victim was not home at the time of the burglary.

Williams was located and arrested in Watervliet, NY, with the assistance of the Watervliet Police Department. He was transported to SP Clifton Park for processing. He was arraigned at the Clifton Park Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
