Matthew Dundore Indicted on Sexual Abuse of a Minor Charges

(Anchorage, AK) - On April 22, 2021, an Anchorage grand jury indicted 28 year-old Juneau resident Matthew A. Dundore for two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, one count of Attempted Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, four counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree, and one count of Indecent Exposure in the First Degree.

The case was investigated by the Juneau Police Department and is being prosecuted by the Anchorage District Attorney's Office. If convicted at trial, Mr. Dundore faces sentences of up to 99 years imprisonment for each of the charges. These charges are only allegations and are not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent and are entitled to a fair trial at which the prosecution must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Mr. Dundore is currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections and is being held on a $50,000 cash performance bond. He is expected to be arraigned on the indictment on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:00AM in the Anchorage Superior Court.
