The following is work scheduled to occur on state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot. The schedule of work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, work will take place during daytime hours.

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

Interstate 75 at state Route 65, Lima, will experience shoulder closures in each direction through the work zone for erosion repair at the interchange. All ramps at the interchange and all four lanes of Interstate 75 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

U.S. 30 eastbound at the state Route 696 interchange, Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

U.S. 30 at state Route 696, Beaverdam, and at Bentley Road will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for erosion repair. All ramps at state Route 696 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, is now open following the replacement of eight culverts in the area.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street)over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, closed Monday, July 1, for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure is located within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village's work zone, but traffic is unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. The bridge replacement project is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

State Route 117 between Eastown Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 117 at state Route 501, west of the city of Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 117 between Bowman Road in Allen County and the Hardin County line in Auglaize County, excluding the community of Westminster, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing beginning Monday, Sept. 9. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 117/state Route 309 (Bellefontaine Avenue) between Elm Street and Shawnee Street, within the city of Lima, will close Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately one week for work related to a railroad grade separation project under the Indiana & Ohio Railroad. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75, Fourth Street, St. Johns Avenue and Pine Street back to state Route 309/state Route 117 (Elm Street). Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge, Sidney, for the city of Lima. For project information, visit www.golima.org.

Seventh Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Moening Street and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) within the city of Delphos, closed Aug. 12 for approximately two months for a bridge replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Moening Street, Sixth Street, and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) back to Seventh Street. Work is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos. Work is being performed by The Eclipse Company, Chagrin Falls.

DEFIANCE COUNTY

For more information regarding the Clinton Street bridge replacement project within the city of Defiance, visit the project website here. The bridge closed Feb. 25 for approximately nine months for a full replacement.

State Route 18 truck route (Meuse Argonne Street) between Elm Street and Main Street, within the village of Hicksville, closed July 29 for approximately eight weeks for a railroad overpass replacement. State Route 18 (Main Street) is unaffected for passenger vehicles, but truck traffic must detour due to a low-clearance overpass on Main Street. Truck traffic must detour onto Elm Street, Meuse Argonne Street, Industrial Drive, state Route 49, and state route 2 back to state Route 18. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. The following locations in Defiance County will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for guardrail repairs. Work is being performed by Lake Erie Construction, Norwalk:

· State Route 111 between Hammersmith Road and the city of Defiance· U.S. 127 between Blosser Road and state Route 249, north of the village of Sherwood· State Route 281 between state Route 18 and the Henry County line

Independence Dam State Park will close Monday, Sept. 9, for approximately two weeks for pavement resurfacing in the parking lot. Minor drainage work in the park will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Work will not affect the park over the Labor Day weekend. The marina will remain open during the week of Sept. 9, but it will close on Monday, Sept. 16, for approximately one week, also for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Geddis Paving and Excavating, Toledo.

HANCOCK COUNTY

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 67 between county Road 115 and township Road 135, southwest of the city of Kenton, will close Monday, Sept. 9, for approximately four days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 309 and state Route 235 back to state Route 67. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 81 between the western village limits of Ada and township Road 55, within the village of Ada, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 235 between the northern village limits of Ada and state Route 309 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

PAULDING COUNTY

State Route 500 between township Road 93 and county Road 87, west of the village of Paulding, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage work. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

State Route 613 at township Road 131, east of the village of Broughton, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage work. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

State Route 637 between state Route 613 to state Route 111 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement crack sealing. Work is being performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

PUTNAM COUNTY

The following routes in Putnam County will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage repair and drainage structure cleaning. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

· State Route 115 between the Allen County line and state Route 15· State Route 634 between the village of Dupont and state Route 613· State Route 694 between state Route 634 and the village of Glandorf· U.S. 224 between the Hancock County line and the Van Wert County line

State Route 108 between Vanbuskirk Street and Railroad Avenue, within the village of Miller City, closed Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately nine days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 613, state Route 109, and state Route 18 back to state Route 108. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see map)

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 under U.S. 224, near the city of Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 49 between Wolfcale Road and Monmouth Road, south of the village of Convoy, will close Monday, Sept. 16, for approximately five days for the replacement of two culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 49. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 118 at Mercer Van Wert County Line Road, north of the village of Rockford, will be minimally impacted through the work zone for a culvert replacement beneath Mercer Van Wert County Line Road. Mercer Van Wert County Line Road will Monday, Sept. 9, for approximately five days for the project. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

WYANDOT COUNTY

U.S. 23between county Road 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by The Shelly Company, Findlay.

U.S. 23/U.S. 30 at county Highway 50, Upper Sandusky, will experience shoulder restrictions in both directions during removal of at-grade access at the intersection beginning Monday, Sept. 16. The project includes the construction of cul-de-sacs on county Highway 50 and shoulder repair following intersection removal. When the project is complete, no access will be allowed between U.S. 23/U.S. 30 and county Highway 50. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.
