While traditional commencement ceremonies are postponed for spring 2020, the University of Hawaiʻiat Mānoa is encouraging spring and summer graduating students to send in recorded messages for the traditional Mahalo Messages video. Productions will compile the messages and produce a final version to be shared in May via social media and the Mānoa commencement website.
Students interested in recording a message should follow these guidelines:
Mānoa is committed to finding a way to honor and celebrate the spring and summer 2020 graduating students' achievements and will make an announcement once a decision has been made regarding the ceremonies. A traditional commencement program will be produced for graduating students to commemorate their graduation, even if they do not attend a ceremony.
