PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering celebrates Earth Day with new plant-based menu at Lime Restaurant

Singapore, 15 April 2021 -In its latest effort to promote healthier eating and a more sustainable lifestyle, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering has launched a new plant-based menu. Coinciding with Earth Day 2021 on 22nd April, the new menu features ten delectable dishes that are sure to impress even the most ardent carnivores amongst you.

Since making its debut in 2019, the plant-based menu at Lime Restaurant has been a favourite amongst vegans and meat eaters alike as diners have increasingly looked for healthier and more sustainable alternatives to traditional menus. From appetisers to desserts, this latest evolution sees the introduction of more mouth-watering, innovative Asian dishes without compromising on flavour, creativity, or ingredients.

Starters include the new Japanese Gyoza made of pan fried gyoza with black vinegar and ginger - flavours that are sure to wake your taste buds with a start.

One classic that will put right any misconceptions about a plant-based diet is the Meatless Meat and Vegetables in Tomato Sauce Pizza. A far cry from your typical vegetarian pizza, using vegan cheese and vegan pizza dough, Lime's creation is a winner among all pizza aficionados.

For anyone looking for an alternative to protein, Lime Restaurant is one of the first restaurants in Singapore to offer a dish using JUST Egg Folded, a pioneer of plant-based egg substitutes. JUST Egg Folded is made from mung beans that cook and taste just like eggs. Not only does it use 98%less water and emit 93% less carbon dioxide compared to conventional farming methods, JUST Egg Folded is 100% plant-based, carrageenan-free and made with no artificial flavours.

Be one of the first to enjoy this fabulous creation at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering with its new Miso Meatless Meat Bolognaise with Vegan Egg coupled with Edamame, Seaweed, Sesame, Chilli Oil and Steamed Rice.

Famed for its desserts, Lime Restaurant doesn't disappoint with the dairy-free delicacies on this menu. Diners can round off their plant-based meal with the new Instagram-worthy refreshing treat of Watermelon Delight served with Watermelon Sorbet.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering is no stranger to taking meaningful steps towards a more sustainable future and continues to set the standard for environmentally friendly hospitality in Singapore and around the world. The hotel is once again nominated for Asia's Leading Green Hotel and Asia's Leading Design Hotel in the World Travel Awards 2021. Since opening in 2013, it has long been lauded as an industry pioneer for seamlessly blending cutting-edge design and technology with sustainable operational practices, dining options and staycation offers.

Initiatives include Singapore's first zero-energy sky gardens, harvesting its own rainwater and utilising smart technology to reduce energy consumption throughout the hotel, while its Green City Life staycation has been developed specifically for guests seeking a greater harmony with nature.Running throughout the year, guests also get to enjoy dining credits for Lime plant-based menu while enjoying this holistic wellness experience.
