CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2019-- Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) today announced more than $1.5 million in grants to 22 organizations as part of the Campbell Soup Foundation's annual grantmaking cycle and Campbell's Healthy Communities, the company's signature philanthropic program.
The Campbell Soup Foundation's grantmaking focuses on three key areas: increasing healthy food access; encouraging healthy living; and nurturing Campbell neighborhoods. The Campbell's Healthy Communities program is focused on improving the health of young people in communities where Campbell has operations. The 22 grantees are located primarily in Campbell's hometown communities of Camden, N.J.; Norwalk, Conn.; Charlotte, N.C.; Maxton, N.C.; and Napoleon, Ohio.
