Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On April 20, 2022 in Tokyo, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Honda Taro.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current state and prospects of bilateral relations and the ways to develop political, trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.

Sharaf Sheralizoda informed his colleague about the preparations for the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" to be held on June 6-9, 2022 in Dushanbe.

The parties also stressed the need for regional cooperation within the framework of the Dialogue "Central Asia + Japan" and strengthening cooperation at the bilateral and multilateral levels.
