'Green Nomads' youth campaign will take place at 13 universities in Kyrgyzstan

The aim of the event is to raise environmental awareness, education of environmental culture, and promotion of the principles of respect for nature among students of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The initiative is implemented as part of the European Climate Diplomacy Weeks.

Through the campaign, young activists will travel to all regions of the country, hold interactive trainings, workshops, and seminars, and talk about the problems and causes of the global environmental crisis, and ways to overcome it, the "EU Green Deal", the latest green technology in the world and in Kyrgyzstan and green agriculture. In addition the program will be diluted by topical games, where students can creatively reinforce the material covered.

The project involves visits to 13 universities in all regions.

The campaign schedule is below:

At the end of the trips, the final event "Green Fest" will be organized in Bishkek, to which representatives of the active student society will be invited, selected according to the results of the activities in each region, all costs will be paid by the organization.

Green Fest will be held on the occasion of the World Youth Day in beginning of November.
