Tamra Hunt

Tamra Hunt is a Greensboro-based artist, arts educator and proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. Born and raised in Greensboro, Tamra has a passion for using art to create unity within diverse communities. She has bachelor's and master's degrees in Fine Art with a concentration in Painting and Drawing and is Education Programs Director at Reconsidered Goods, a local, non-profit creative reuse center.

Join Hunt for an art-making sessions focused on indigenous cultures and history at the People's Market in the Glenwood neighborhood. Hunt invites market attendees to learn about the history of the indigenous community in Glenwood and for residents to share their stories of the neighborhood through creative arts.

Hunt's events are free to participate with all art supplies provided.
