A detachment of Baltic Fleet ships consisting of guard ship Yaroslav Mudriy, the sea tug boat Viktor Konetskiy and the tanker Yelnya carrying out long-range planned missions, completed the passage of the Pas de Calais and English Channel.
The combat crews of the patrol ship moving along the approved route carried out a search for, detection of submarines of a mock enemy as part of exercises to organize anti-submarine defense on the move in the Atlantic.
The long-range voyage of the Baltic Fleet's ships is taking place in accordance with the plan of international activity of the Russian Ministry of Defence this year. On the warship and ships of the detachment are anti-terror groups from the Baltic Fleet marines.
Detachment of ships left the Baltiysk Military Harbor on October 1 and headed for the Indian Ocean.
