The WFTU General Secretary attended and addressed the 50th ALC

A delectation of the World Federation of Trade Unions, headed by its General Secretary, Pambis Kyritsis, is participating in the 50th Arab Labor Conference, which kicked off on April 27th, 2024 in Bagdad, Iraq.

In the framework of the ALC works the WFTU delegation had several bilateral meetings with affiliates and friends of the Federation, discussing the current situation in the international trade union movement and the actions and priorities of the international class-oriented trade union movement for the near future.

The WFTU General Secretary took the floor and addressed the delegates of the ALC on April 28th, underling the WFTU positions on the current developments in the wider region, reiterating its firm and undivided solidarity with the just demands and struggles of the peoples and workers in the Ara World.
