6:30 AM UPDATE: Route 15 Closed in Snyder County

6:30 AM UPDATE: Route 15 is expected to remain closed throughout the morning while utility crews complete work in the area. Motorists should expect major delays in travel.​​

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that Route 15 is closed in both directions just north of the Route 11/15 split in Shamokin Dam Borough, Snyder County, due to a vehicle crash with low hanging utilities.

Motorists should expect major traffic disruptions during the morning commute.

The following detours are in place.

• Route 15 southbound: Route 147 north, exit at Route 1024 (Ridge Road), Route 405 south, Route 11.

• Route 15 northbound: Route 11 north at the Route 11/15 split, Route 405 north.

• Motorists traveling Route 147 southbound will be detoured at the Ridge Road interchange, Route 405 south, Route 11 south.
