On July 30 and 31, in the Peter the Great Gulf, the crews of Ka-27PL antisubmarine helicopters of the Pacific Fleet, in cooperation with the crews of the ships, conducted training sessions, during which they practiced the organization of takeoffs and landings on the decks of the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Panteleev and the corvette Sovershennyi.
Two helicopters were involved in the training tasks. During daylight hours, the pilots, in cooperation with the ASW crew, performed takeoffs and landings on the decks of ships in motion and while drifting.
After completing the training, the helicopters returned to the base airfield in the Primorsky Territory.
