Carrefour launches the 12th edition of the Boucles du Coeur to raise money for ill children

Throughout the campaign, Carrefour customers will be able to make donations at store checkouts, they will be able to take part in events both in stores and outside and they will be able to purchase bouquets of seven roses. For every bouquet that they purchase, Carrefour will donate two euros to the national charity that it is supporting this year: Le Rire Médecin.

Since it was first held back in 2011, this event has helped children experiencing hardship via various campaigns in aid of national child support charities. This year, the retailer is supporting Le Rire Médecin.

In addition to the national charities that the Boucles du Cœur campaign supports, nearly 300 Carrefour stores provide an additional 108 local charities with individual support. These stores collect donations that will be used to support programmes to support ill children, or children from disadvantaged families across the whole of France.

Carrefour - committed to helping against a backdrop of increased vulnerability

With this 12th edition of the Boucles du Coeur campaign, Carrefour is once again demonstrating its commitment to supporting aid initiatives. At a time when increasing numbers of people are experiencing financial difficulties, the Group has brought in a number of initiatives to tackle vulnerability. Carrefour is engaged in more and more campaigns to help vulnerable people, and is pursuing its usual joint initiatives with the charity sector, such as the Pièces Jaunes campaign, and the Restos du Cœur donation campaign.
