Main Line Health announces new vice president of administration at Lankenau Medical Center

Lankenau Medical Center announced today that Yonathan Kebede, FACHE, has been named Vice President of Administration for Lankenau Medical Center. He succeeds John Schwarz, who now serves as President of Bryn Mawr Hospital, another member of Main Line Health.

Kebede has more than 15 years of experience within the healthcare industry, serving in various roles at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Premier Health, the largest health system in Southwest Ohio. In his most recent role at Premier Health, he served as Vice President of Operations at Miami Valley Hospital, a large urban hospital in Dayton, OH.

As vice president of administration, Kebede will oversee the growth and operational performance of all departments at Lankenau, and work with leadership to identify and set strategic goals and implementation. 'Yonathan will play a significant role in the continued success of our facility, working to ensure we're operating efficiently and providing our patients and community with optimal, high-quality health care. Yonathan brings with him a wealth of experience, and I look forward to seeing him thrive in this role,' said Phillip D. Robinson, FACHE, President of Lankenau Medical Center.

Kebede holds a master's degree in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences Management from The Ohio State University. He maintains active memberships in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Health Services Executives, and has held leadership roles within both organizations.

Alongside his active roles in community health, Kebede is passionate about investing time within the African American community and promoting health and education in the community at large. When he's not working, he enjoys international travel with his family and friends, distance running, golfing, and playing and watching soccer.
