AirAsia X spreads its wings to Central Asia, flying direct from Almaty to Kuala Lumpur

ALMATY, 15 December 2023 - AirAsia X (AAX) is expanding its footprint in Central Asia with the launch of direct flights from Almaty to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia commencing 14 March 2024 with 4x weekly services every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

AAX's entry into Central Asia marks a significant milestone for the medium-haul airline, opening up new horizons for globetrotters, adventure seekers, and foodies from Kazakhstan to explore the picturesque city of Kuala Lumpur and the diverse landscapes of Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur, the bustling capital of Malaysia, welcomes visitors with its distinctive skyline, rich cultural heritage, and a blend of modernity and tradition. It serves as the gateway to Southeast Asia, offering convenient connections to multiple destinations in the region.
