CDPQ Group Stands Out at the 2024 IPE Real Estate Global Awards

At the IPE Real Estate Global Awards 2024 ceremony in Madrid on May 22, Ivanhoé Cambridge was named Global Real Estate Investor of the Year for the second year in a row, and CDPQ was recognized as Real Assets & Infrastructure Investor of the Year.

The jury highlighted the "amazing execution of a strategic pivot in a difficult market, while delivering strong returns."

The awards recognized the geographic and sectoral diversification of our Real Estate portfolio, valued at CAD 77 billion. Over the past few years, we have completed 300 transactions for a total of CAD 50 billion while carrying out our strategic transformation and strengthening our resilience. In recognition of this, the jury also accorded Ivanhoé Cambridge the North America award as a Canadian real estate investment leader.

Our leadership in sustainable investing

In addition, our role as a sustainable real estate investor was recognized in the ESG category, which we also won for a second year in a row.

The jury commended our ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. This distinction was also awarded for the significant impact we make in our communities through diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and by promoting responsible governance within the industry.
