The Italian Embassy on the 2nd Anniversary of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine

The Embassy of Italy in Washington was lit up in the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag on the second anniversary of the Russian invasion.

In addition to the Italian tricolor, the Embassy permanently displays the flags of the European Union and Ukraine.

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Embassy of Italy welcomed a group of Ukrainian veterans supported by the organization Veteran Coalition International for a brief visit on Friday, February 23rd. On Saturday, February 24th, the Embassy also participated in a rally of support for Kyiv at the Lincoln Memorial along with the Ukrainian Embassy, the EU Delegation, and the embassies of EU member states.
