Protect our children from COVID-19 - Peggy Troy signs national letter

Peggy Troy, president and CEO of Children's Wisconsin, signed her name to an open letter encouraging all eligible Americans to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, wear masks and adhere to the proven practices of social distancing and hand washing in an effort to better protect children.

The open letter ran as full-page advertisements in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times, and is being promoted digitally by the Children's Hospital Association (CHA).

Peggy, our Governmental Relations team and other leaders also continue to support efforts of the Children's Hospital Association, which continues to stress these messages to state and federal officials. CHA also continues to advocate for policies to support pediatric health care systems responding to surges in hospitalizations, including funding to address the nation's youth mental health crisis.

Our high standard of care has always required an uncompromising approach to safety. And during this COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to ensure every visit, appointment, procedure and surgery offered across all our Children's Wisconsin locations is safe. Learn more on our COVID-19 web page.
