Taiping Dragon Parade

In the past few days, the villagers of Ditang Village, Ditang Street, Yuyao City, formed a dragon team to parade in the countryside. During the local traditional February temple fair, the villages of Low Tang Street have been carrying on the custom of the Taiping Dragon parade. From the beginning of the second lunar month to the 19th day of February every year, these dragon teams parade through the villages and alleys every day, adding a joyful and peaceful festive atmosphere to the countryside and fields. It is reported that the Taiping Dragon parade is to pray for good weather and peace for the country and the people.
