Macbeth announces promotion of Millie Smith to board as Marketing Director

Macbeth, one of the Thames Valley's leading independent insurance brokers and financial services firm, has announced the promotion of Millie Smith, Marketing Director, to its board.

In this role, she will continue to lead Macbeth's fully integrated marketing strategy supporting the company's next phase of accelerated growth and sector leadership. The company expects to increase its revenue by 15% this year.

In the newly expanded role, Millie's portfolio of responsibilities will include corporate communications, client experience, digital marketing and community partnerships, an area of strategic importance for the firm.

Since joining Macbeth in March 2022 as Head of Marketing, Millie has been pivotal to consolidating the firm's brand, overseeing the integration of the firm's acquisition of Peter Lole. Millie led Macbeth's complete rebrand announced in February this year and has been instrumental in strengthening the firm's reputation as an employer of choice.

Macbeth was recently recognised in the national league of the Top 25 Best Small Companies to work for, the South East Regional league Top 25 Best Companies to work for and was first in the Best Company league table by sector.

Millie joins CEO Paul Macbeth and MD Ben Butler on the board. Tony Gibbs has stepped down but remains with the business in a senior role.
