Weng Zuliang Meets with Yang Chengxin, Deputy Secretary of Zhaotong...

On the afternoon of March 15, Weng Zuliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals met with the delegation led by Yang Chengxin, Deputy Secretary of Zhaotong Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zhaotong. Dong Mingjun, Deputy Party Group Secretary and Director of China Minmetals attended the meeting and had a conversation with the guests.

Weng Zuliang expressed his welcome to Yang Chengxin and his delegation. He said that China Minmetals would follow the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress, thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on rural revitalization, and steadily enhance the sense of responsibility, urgency and mission to effectively advance dedicated poverty alleviation. He also pointed out that China Minmetals would make all-out effort to boost the high-quality social and economic development of Zhaotong City, and play a bigger role and make greater contributions in the process of advancing the rural revitalization in an all-around way in assisted counties.

Dong Mingjun said at the meeting that China Minmetals and the people in Zhaotong had forged profound friendship in more than 20 years of partner assistance, and made continued progress and new breakthroughs in the special aid offering projects. He said that China Minmetals would place more efforts, and offer aids through effective and down-to-earth actions in the vitalization of industry, talent, culture, the environment, and organizational structures, especially the vitalization of industry. For this, he also expressed the intention that China Minmetals would actively explore the ways for further cooperation in the development of mineral resources, infrastructure construction, and financial services, and bring more benefits to the people in Zhaotong.

Yang Chengxin expressed his heartfelt thanks to China Minmetals for its arduous, passionate, and vigorous assistance to Zhaotong in these years, and briefly introduced the future plans and key measures for the social and economic development in Zhaotong City. He hoped that China Minmetals can make full use of its capitals, technologies, and talents to contribute to more industrial cooperation projects in fields of industrial development, financial support, and new-type urbanization, and change the money-sending assistance to assistance to cultivate money-earning ability.
