SCDOT to close SC 9 Bridge over Ropers Mill Branch in Dillon County for emergency repairs

Columbia, S.C. (May 2, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close SC 9 over Ropers Mill Branch to perform emergency bridge repairs beginning May 6. Repairs are expected to be finished by July.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured using Wix Road and Harllees Bridge Road. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that SC 9 will be open to local traffic, however the bridge site will be closed.
