ICYMI: Michigan Dems Secure State House Majority Following Key Special Elections

With last night's special elections in the 13th and 25th state House districts, Democrats have held the trifecta in Lansing

LANSING - In case you missed it, Democratic candidates Peter Herzberg and Mai Xiong were victorious in two key special elections that made national headlines in the 13th and 25th state House districts - securing the majority in the legislature which will allow Democrats to continue delivering for Michiganders.

Matt Hall and his MAGA caucus have wasted months throwing a petty temper tantrum and standing in the way of progress as they work to prevent the historic strides Democrats have made on reproductive rights, clean air and water, infrastructure, and more.

By rejecting two more MAGA candidates, Michiganders have continued to denounce the far-right MAGA agenda that the MIGOP has made the core of their platform. Now, unimpeded by extremist, partisan antics, the Democratic trifecta can continue delivering for Michiganders on the issues they care about most.
