EEX Kundeninformation - Change in Panamax 4TC Options Tenor

Dear Trading Participants,

In alignment with the Baltic Exchange, the tenor for Panamax 4 TC Options volatility curves will be reduced, with the final tradable expiry now set to December 2025. As a result, no further expiries beyond December 2025 will be available for trading.

Effective from Monday, November 4, 2024, the following changes will be implemented:

• Trading for EEX Baltic Panamax 4TC Freight Option OPTM and EEX Asia Baltic Panamax 4TC Freight Option ONPT contracts from January 2026 onwards will be discontinued on the European Energy Exchange.

Participants who wish to continue trading further expiries are encouraged to switch to the EEX Panamax 5TC contract, which remains available for trading.
