Community Development Block Grant Draft CAPER Available

Notice is given that a Public Hearing will be held before the City Council on June 24, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the DeKalb Public Library in the Yusunas Room, 309 Oak Street, DeKalb, Illinois, to receive public input on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). This report provides information on the City's use of funds and accomplishments for CDBG Program Year 2023/2024 and the City's Program Year 30 (April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024).

An electronic copy of the CAPER is available for viewing beginning May 24, 2024, through June 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. on the City's website at www.cityofdekalb.com under the Community Development Department/Community Services on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) page. Print copies are available for review in DeKalb City Hall, 164 East Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL, in the Main Lobby and Community Development Department, and at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak Street DeKalb, IL.

All interested persons are encouraged to submit written comments on this report to the City of DeKalb, Community Development Department, Attention: Jennifer Yochem, 164 East Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, Illinois 60115, via email to [email protected], or on the Online Public Comment Submission Form at https://www.cityofdekalb.com/FormCenter no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 24, 2024. Citizens are also invited to appear and be heard at the Public Hearing at the City Council's regular meeting on June 24, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
