Missing teenager located - Old Bar

A girl missing from state's Mid North Coast has been located safe and well.

The 16-year-old was last seen on Old Bar Road, Old Bar, about 7.30pm Thursday 25 April 2024.

When she failed to return home and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced enquiries into her whereabouts.

Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, she was located in Taree today (Saturday 27 April 2024).

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
