BNP's Public Threat to Assassinate Prime Minister Sends Chilling Message of Terror Disguised as Politics

BNP, a party plagued by widespread repression, extortion, terrorism, rape, and pervasive corruption, finds itself consistently resorting to violence after being rejected by the public. Under the guise of political opposition, they have caused the deaths of countless people through politically motivated arson attacks. Even ahead of the upcoming general election, the top leaders of this separatist and terrorist organization are allegedly devising a plot to assassinate the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the president of Awami League and the architect of modern Bangladesh.

During a rally in Rajshahi on May 19, BNP's district unit convener, Abu Saeed Chand, openly issued a menacing threat to assassinate Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and leave her lifeless in a graveyard. It became evident the following day, May 20 and May 21, that this threat was part of the party's central plot, as revealed in the speech of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam. Addressing a gathering in front of BNP's central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on May 20, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also declared their intention to oust the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from power. Additionally, during a meeting organized at the Dhaka Reporters Unity on May 21, Mirza Fakhrul once again menacingly asserted their determination to overthrow the democratically elected Awami government by any means.

In fact, BNP has earned immense hatred and rejection from the public due to its widespread torture and uncounted wrongdoings against the people. Consequently, fueled by intense anger towards mass people, BNP leaders have resorted to conducting ruthless massacres through the means of arson and communal violence. Nonetheless, when Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of Bangabandhu, issued a stern warning about the dire consequences for causing harm to the people, BNP got afraid of further endangering the lives of ordinary people. However, it is evident this time that these killers are resolutely advancing towards their ultimate goal of sabotaging the nation and executing their blueprint of violence.

Hence, be vigilant over these violent killers masquerading as politicians in order to build a safe Bangladesh for generations to come.
