The City of Sun Prairie Historical Library & Museum will be hosting the display "We Stand on their Shoulders: A History of Wisconsin Women and Voting" in collaboration with the Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS) History Makers Tour. This travelling display provided by the WHS is getting a Sun Prairie twist as we dive into the impact of the 19th amendment on our community.
Stop by in November during open hours (Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-4pm) to learn about women's suffrage and female leaders of the Sun Prairie community. The Sun Prairie Historical Library & Museum is located at 115 E. Main St. Admission is free, and there is public parking available behind the building.
