The Senate is scheduled to vote on the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act (H.R. 7888) before the end of the weekend and may vote on the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8034), the Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8035), the Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8036), and the 21st Century Peace through Strength Act (H.R. 8038) over the weekend.

The House is scheduled to vote on the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8034), the Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8035), the Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R. 8036), and the 21st Century Peace through Strength Act (H.R. 8038) on April 20.
  • Biden Administration - On April 17, President Biden calledon U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai to triple the existing Section 301 tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum imports in part because "Chinese policies and subsidies for their domestic steel and aluminum industries means high-quality U.S. products are undercut by artificially low-priced Chinese alternatives produced with higher emissions."
