On 9 May we celebrated Europe Day! The Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra played the EU and Georgian national anthems, 12 landmarks across Georgia were lit in EU colours, a joint statement was issued by 19 Team Europe members in Georgian, and there were individual statements by the EU Ambassador, President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Parliament.

In April, through an EU-mediated political dialogue initiated and overseen by President of the European Council Charles Michel, Georgian political leaders signed an agreement on 'A way ahead for Georgia ' which was tabled by President Michel. This marked a breakthrough in the political stalemate in the country.

In March, in connection to the International Women's Day, special attention was given to some of our female beneficiaries under our campaign Strong Women - Strong Georgia.

Other highlights: EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell visited Khashuri to join the launch of the Team Europe initiative to improved water and sanitation in the area, EU Head of Cooperation Sigrid Brettel visited EU funded infrastructure projects in Imereti and Guria under the new EU4ITD programme to ensure balanced territorial development in Georgia.
