Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Decision concerning restrictive measures in view of the[...]

On 18 February 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/335¹.

The Council decided that the restrictive measures should be renewed until 20 February 2026, that the remaining entity should be deleted from the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures set out in Annex I to Decision 2011/101/CFSP, leaving no person or entity subject to restrictive measures.

Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
