San Francisco Emergency Barrier Repair Project: Lane closure on NB U.S. 101 Central Freeway Connector Ramp scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st beginning at 12:01 AM

San Francisco County- Caltrans has scheduled a lane closure on NB US101 to NB US 101 (Central Freeway) connector at US 101 & I-80 interchange from 12:01 AM to 4AM, Wednesday, May 1st. Caltrans will first close the left lane and then switch to closing the right lane. One lane will always remain open to traffic.

Caltrans will begin closures at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, May 1st and reopen at 4 AM.

All work will be completed during early morning hours.

  • May 1, Wednesday morning: 12:01 AM - 4 AM

This closure will allow crews to assess and layout section barriers that need to be repaired in the upcoming months located on NB U.S. 101 to NB U.S. 101 Central Freeway. Caltrans will replace the barriers in the upcoming months. The repairs will enhance the safety of the NB U.S. 101 connector ramp.

Traffic Control Measures:

Changeable messages or directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. During the closures, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be at the sites.
