DOE Awards Small Business Nationwide Deactivation, Decommissioning, and Removal Procurement

Today, the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management (EM) awarded a small business set-aside contract to provide Nationwide Deactivation, Decommissioning, and Removal (DD&R) services for EM sites, the National Nuclear Security Administration, Office of Naval Reactors, and the Office of Science. The services to be acquired may be performed at various locations throughout the United States. Contracts are awarded to the following 14 small businesses:

  • A2RGC LLC (Oak Ridge, TN)
  • Apogee (Richland, WA)
  • Banda Group International, LLC (Mesa, AZ)
  • Capital Energy Group, LLC (Knoxville, TN)
  • GEM Technologies (Knoxville, TN)
  • HGL-Aptim Technologies (Reston, VA)
  • Los Alamos Technical Associates Inc. (Albuquerque, NM)
  • Navarro Research and Engineering (Oak Ridge, TN)
  • North Wind Portage (Idaho Falls, ID)
  • Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc (Oak Ridge, TN)
  • RSI EnTech (Oak Ridge, TN)
  • Sigma NAC Nuclear Solutions LLC (Albuquerque, NM)
  • Spectrano, LLC (Oak Ridge, TN)
  • TerranearPMC, LLC (Exton, PA)

In addition, DOE will award an initial Task Order under the Small Business Nationwide DD&R contract in support of the Energy Technology Engineering Center Mission Completion project. This Task Order includes Environmental Monitoring, Surveillance and Maintenance, Project Support, DD&R, and Groundwater Remediation. This initial Task Order is awarded to North Wind Portage in the amount of $18,601,576.
