Struggling to cope with inflation? Attend this webinar from the City’s Financial Empowerment Center

Join the City's Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) on a webinar at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8, to learn about protecting against the negative impacts of inflation.

The FEC financial coaches will define inflation and discuss how it affects consumers in their day-to-day lives. Coaches will present practical steps attendees can take to minimize inflationary challenges. Attendees will also learn how the FEC's coaching service can help.

"The City's Financial Empowerment coaches are here to help all adult Sacramento residents access resources and build financial health," said Amy Williamson, the City's Financial Empowerment Manager. "We host periodic webinars on different topics that impact Sacramentans to help them learn more about these issues. We can also set up one-one-one coaching to help them work on their financial goals."

Register to attend this free online webinar here.

The FEC this May is celebrating its three-year anniversary and having served over 1,000 clients.

The FEC supports local residents in building long-term financial health through reducing debt, building savings, improving credit, and/or connecting with safe, affordable checking/saving accounts. Professional coaching services are available in English, Spanish, Dari/Farsi, and Urdu to all residents 18 and older.
