The "Meet Suzhou in Singapore" Culture Week was launched at the Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay, Singapore on Apr. 10. The culture week is one of the series events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park.

Established in 1994 as the first government-to-government (G2G) project between China and Singapore, the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) has been developed into a model for China's economic cooperation with foreign countries. Over the past 30 years, the park has made remarkable achievements in high-quality development and has become one of the regions with the highest degree of openness, the strongest innovation vitality and the best business environment in China.

The "Meet Suzhou in Singapore" Culture Week is sponsored by the Suzhou Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, and organized by the Information Office of the Suzhou Municipal People's Government, the Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, and Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism. The event will last until April 16. And the culture week is also one of the series activities of the 2024 ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges.

More than 1,000 people attended the opening ceremony of the culture week.
