The EMD team arrived in the Astrakhan region to perform at the all-army stage of the competition Special Route

The team of the Eastern Military District has arrived in the Astrakhan region, where the all-Russian stage of the field training competition for the best ammunition transportation unit Special Route will be held. This competition is part of the program of the Army International Games-2021.

The team of the EMD missile formation won all the preparatory stages, which were held since January of this year. During the preparation for the competition, the servicemen worked out the standards for fire, tactical, and special training, and also passed a medical examination.

The final of the all-army competition is divided into three stages: a transport maneuver, a fire biathlon and a control line.

At the first stage, the combat crews overcome a complex route, which contains typical obstacles: ditches, hills, rocky areas. Then the soldiers must show the skill of loading the car on the railway platform and carefully using a crane to load a mock box of ammunition into the car body. Each operation is clearly time-based.

At the final stage, the combat crew with ammunition will go on a three-kilometer route over rough terrain.

Recall, a team from a missile formation from Buryatia took part in the Special Route competition several times and won prizes.
