Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan regarding yesterday's blatant and unprecedented attack by Iran and its proxies on Israel. Secretary Blinken thanked Foreign Minister Fidan for his ongoing engagement to prevent further escalation in the region. The Secretary reaffirmed America's ironclad commitment to the security of Israel and highlighted that we remain vigilant to all threats and will not hesitate to take all necessary action to protect our people.
