Homicide Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting of Over-the-Road Truck Driver

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of over-the-road truck driver David White, 37, of North Carolina, who was found deceased today inside the cab of his rig that was parked on Lucas Lane adjacent to Love's Travel Center in East Nashville.

An employee of the travel center found White unresponsive after his company could not reach him and asked that someone do a welfare check.

White was last seen at 7:20 p.m. Sunday buying food at the travel center.
