Congressman Cohen Announces Environmental Health Grant to the University of Memphis

MEMPHIS - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a grant of $362,500 to study biological responses to environmental health hazards from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

"Memphis has many existing and potential environmental health hazards, so I am pleased to see this grant for research supporting a better understanding of addressing and mitigating them."
