Detour On SR 136 Resumes Friday through Monday
WHAT: Weather permitting, crews will continue repairing the bridge on State Route 136 over the Conasauga River this weekend. The repairs will require the bridge to be closed from Friday, March 22 at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, March 26 at 7 a.m. A detour will be utilized during the bridge closure.
WHEN: Friday, March 22 at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, March 26 at 7 a.m.
DETOUR: Motorists on the west side of the bridge will take I-75 south to exit 317 and turn left to take SR 225 and then turn left on SR 136. Motorists heading east on SR 136 will turn left on to SR 225 and travel to I-75 to take it north to exit 318 and then turn right back on to SR 136.
