Lane closures scheduled on NB/SB I-35/I-29 for permit work over the Christopher (Kit) S. Bond Bridge

This work will take place from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. March 2-3 and March 9-10.

JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will make right lane closures on NB and SB I-35/I-29 over the Christopher (Kit) S. Bond Bridge for lighting repairs. Various right lane closures will take place from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. March 2-3 and March 9-10. Crews will begin repairs on NB I-35/I-29 and once completed will move to make repairs on SB I-35/I-29.

This permit work is located near the construction of the Kansas City Current CPKC Stadium at Berkley Riverfront Park. One lane should remain open at all times, but motorists may experience delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
