City of Columbia Parking Services Extends Limited Closure of the PJ Cannon Parking Facility

Due to the inclement weather conditions including a significant increase to the moisture and relative humidity, the water sealant maintenance project is now scheduled for completion Wednesday morning. The PJ Cannon Facility is now scheduled to reopen Wednesday, March 13^th at 7AM. Monthly parkers are encouraged to utilize our Taylor Deck Facility as well as on-street parking until Wednesday morning.

Monthly parkers who display their pink PJ Cannon permit will not be cited while parking on-street or at other parking facilities nor need to feed the meter if parked on-street. **reminder to please display your permit.

The amount of time that this process takes depends on many factors including chemical composition and environmental factors. In addition to the chemical composition, water sealant cure time is most impacted by temperature, relative humidity and moisture content.
