50th Honor Flight Operation Homecoming At PBI Happening April 6th

Join us on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 8:20 p.m. to welcome home the Honor Flight of veterans returning to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) from Washington, D.C., where they will be honored and celebrated throughout the day. This flight marks the 50th flight for Southeast Florida Honor Flight (SFHF) and the first Honor Flight mission of 2024. SFHF has transported 3,816 of the area's veterans to the nation's capital.

The veterans are escorted by volunteer guardians who have been trained to ensure the safety and enjoyment of each hero veteran on the mission. Every veteran on the flight has stories to share and memories - some they haven't thought of in decades, and some they have never shared with anyone.

This is an opportunity to cheer the veterans through the final steps of the day. Well-wishers are encouraged to bring signs, flags and smiles to share with the veterans and guardians as they return. Some of these veterans never had the welcome home they so deserve.

This event is free and open to the public. The event will be held on the west end of the terminal on Level 2. Ground crew will be there to direct you to the event area.
