Southbrook Y.F.C Saints Under 18's receive brand new kit from local housebuilder

Housebuilder Crest Nicholson has donated new kits for Southbrook Y.F.C Saints Under 18's, on behalf of the community at its nearby Centenary Quay development in Southampton, Hampshire.

Southbrook Y.F.C Saints Under 18's have been at the heart of the community for over 10 years. The team play across the Southampton area in the City of Southampton Youth Football League on Sundays, with the next football season beginning this month. The team is made up of 20 players, and training takes place on a Tuesday evening at the Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre.

Eileen Guihen, Sales and Marketing Director and Deputy Managing Director at Crest Nicholson South, added: "We are really proud to support Southbrook Y.F.C Saints Under 18's, who form a crucial part of the community in Southampton. Getting involved in local sports helps to build stronger, healthier, happier, and safer communities, along with helping children to develop key skills and make friends for life. We wish the team the best of luck for the season ahead!"

Clive Yeates, Team Manager at Southbrook Y.F.C Saints U18's said: "We're incredibly grateful to Crest Nicholson for providing such a generous donation of new kit as we start this season, and it's fantastic for our players and club to build a relationship with such a high-profile company. We are a family friendly community football club based in the heart of Southampton, offering professional football coaching, and have over 20 teams between the under 7 and under 18 age groups, including two girls' teams."

Less than a 20 minute drive from Southbrook FC's training ground is Crest Nicholson's Centenary Quay development, which has just launched a final phase of new homes. Comprising 164 new homes, the new phase includes generously-sized four bedroom townhouses, making it ideally suited to growing families looking to upsize.

Centenary Quay is set next to the scenic River Itchen and incorporates open space with plenty of amenities on the doorstep including a library, gym, restaurants, coffee shop, and beauty salon. Just across the river is Southampton city centre, where residents of Centenary Quay can make the most of an array of shops, bars and restaurants right on their doorstep such as at Watermark, West Quay and Ocean Village.

With Southampton Central train station less than three miles from the development, London is within easy reach via regular trains into Waterloo train station and a journey time of just an hour and fifteen minutes. The M27 and M3 motorways are close by, ideal for those looking to reach the New Forest, Portsmouth, London and beyond.

Prices for the four bedroom homes start from £389,950. For more information on the final phase of homes, or to book an appointment at the sales suite, call 02382 552 399 or visit www.crestnicholson.com/centenaryquay.
