Today, at its meeting, the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank adopted an Ordinance on Amendment to Ordinance No. 22 on the Central Credit Register and an Ordinance on Amendment to Ordinance No. 12 on the Register of Bank Accounts and Safe Deposit Boxes, as well as tariffs of fees for services provided by both registers, which shall enter into force on 1 May 2024.

The amendments to both Ordinances provide for the possibility of submitting requests for information from both registers, signed with a qualified electronic signature in accordance with the Law on Electronic Documents and Electronic Trust Services. The methodologies for determining fees for services have also been amended and supplemented. The fees are specified in separate tariffs and further detailed in specific provisions.
