Live Music Returns to the Camden Amphitheatre

Posted June 18, 2021

On Monday, June 21, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, the public is invited to kick off summer with an evening of big band jazz. Local favorite Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra (MoJO) returns for a free community concert in the beautiful Camden Amphitheatre. Bring a chair or blanket, a picnic supper, and your dancing (or tapping) feet. If one night of music isn't enough, additional MoJO concerts can be enjoyed in the Amphitheatre on June 28 and July 19, also at 6:30 pm.

The mission of MoJO is to be the premier community jazz orchestra in the midcoast area. The group performs a variety of musical styles including traditional big band, Latin, funk, and blues. Vocal numbers are also included. MoJO performs a number of professional engagements every year which includes performances in support of nonprofit organizations. In addition, they strive to provide educational and experiential opportunities for music students to improve their skills. Members are committed to rehearsing every Monday night.
