Absentee Ballots Requests Information Special Hours

The City Clerk's office will be working Saturday October 8th and Saturday October 22nd inside city hall lobby from 9am to 12pm only; we will provide absentee voters an opportunity to request a ballot. Absentee voters will enter through the front of the building and come into the foyer. From there, we will have voters fill out an application, request valid identification, and verify voter status. If voter is registered they may request an absentee ballot. If not, we cannot not register anyone to vote nor change their voter status. This responsibility falls with the Registrar of Voters office.

Please note: Absentee ballots are only for voters who are unable to go to polling place based upon reasons listed on application.

Section IV. - Statement of Applicant I the undersigned applicant believe that I am, or will be, eligible to vote at the election, primary or referendum indicated above and that I expect to be unable to appear at the polling place during the hours of voting for the reason below: (check only one)

?My absence from my town of residence

?Sickness

?My religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary or referendum

?My duties as a primary, election or referendum official at a polling place other than my own during all of the hours of voting

?Physical disability
